Dr. Matthew Glenn, DO
Medical Director

Dr Glenn is an emergency medicine specialist physician with over 26 years of experience. He also practices family medicine and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio. He is affiliated with AHN in Grove City.  Dr Glenn graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University. 

Dr Glenn has been extensively trained in CoolSculpting. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Am I a good candidate for CoolSculpting?
Making certain you are an excellent candidate for CoolSculpting is very important. Unfortunately, some other providers will treat clients that are not great candidates or under-treat patients resulting in a less than desirable outcome. Since we GUARANTEE your results, we only treat patients that we know will get excellent results. Once we meet with you in person for your complimentary body transformation consultation, we will make certain you’ll indeed be a great fit. Good candidates have the right type of fat tissue, noticeable fat bulges in specific areas they’d like to treat and are within a certain range of weight. The CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted areas of fat that is exercise & diet resistant. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, the CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight loss solution for people who are overly obese. It is, however, an excellent non-surgical, non-invasive, no downtime alternative to liposuction.
How many treatments will I need?
Although every client is different, the majority of patients get the best results after two office visits of CoolSculpting. Treatments are spaced out six weeks apart. Once we see you for your complimentary body transformation consultation, we can properly determine your treatment plan.
What should I expect during a CoolSculpting® Elite treatment?
Once you complete some paperwork we’ll take a few “before” pictures and get your current weight. We’ll draw some lines on you to “map out” your area(s) being treated that day. Your body contouring expert will then apply a clear gel pad to create a barrier between the CoolSculpting Elite applicator and your skin. There are up to nine different sized and shaped CoolSculpting applicators that are designed to treat various areas of the body. When the CoolSculpting applicator is applied, you’ll feel a slight tugging sensation as your skin is being gently pulled into the applicator. Then, once the cooling process starts, the treatment area will start to get cold pretty fast. The cold may feel somewhat intense for the first few minutes of the treatment, but shortly thereafter, that area gets numb and it remains comfortable during the rest of your treatment. During your treatment you can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on the large screen TV, use your phone, read, or even take a nap if you’d like. At the end of your treatment the CoolSculpting applicator is removed. You may feel some tenderness in the treatment area when the cold skin is introduced to the warm air. We’ll perform a quick two-minute massage on the treated area which helps break down those frozen fat cells which further enhances your results. Some patients may experience slight discomfort during the two-minute massage. Once all your treatment areas have been completed you continue your daily activities as normal.
What is the difference between CoolSculpting vs. CoolSculpting Elite?

CoolSculpting® Elite is the newest upgraded version of CoolSculpting which gives you a more effective treatment transformation and quicker results than the older original system. The treatment is also more comfortable and up to four times faster than the original.
